It is my great pleasure to invite you to the 30th anniversary of Marriott International’s Association Masters taking place May 8th-11th, 2013. Our host hotel for this year’s event is the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort and Spa, which has just undergone a $90 million dollar refurbishment. As in previous years, a design team of customers (your peers) have created a slate of great educational sessions we are confident you will find both valuable and insightful. Our hope is that each of you will identify new best practices that can be applied within your individual areas of responsibility.

There will also be many opportunities for networking and celebration. Networking activities have been selected so there is something for everyone: Jeep and Segway tours, horseback riding, celebrity home tour, spa treatments or just relaxing by the pool. The evening events will feature creative design elements, entertainment, and unforgettable food and beverage experiences.

This year is shaping up to be an exciting one for Marriott International as we continue enhancing our brands and expanding globally. We’ll be sharing more news on this, plus other developments that have occurred since we were last together.
